Short Description: Minimalist hole-in-the-wall indie roaster.
Long Description: Courier Coffee cultivates community more than any other cafe I’ve visited in Portland. Perhaps it’s the base-bones aesthetic that draws in artists, tourists, and locals. The coffee, too, speaks for itself. Here you can get any of a variety of single-origin pour overs to order, along with espresso drinks and tea. All baked goods are made in-house, which add to the rustic appeal of the cafe. I recommend coming to Courier to read, doodle, or unwind. Just be mindful of the walking tours that occasionally pass through to see what a Portland cafe should feel like.
