Short Description: Coffee-lab style cafe.

Long Description: Public Domain has a strange space. Its boxy interior is far from cozy, but gives the feel that their coffee is precise and carefully selected. The walls are busy with a frenetic search for branding, but no need to really clarify the vision with such a good location in the center of Downtown Portland. Public Domain almost feels like the gray area between chain-coffee-companies and trendy independent roasters. It successful claims to be neither, and is a good stop for a quick espresso if you’re on your way to Target after getting your phone replaced at Verizon.
